Is the internet your way out of financial trouble?
While the internet has changed so many areas of our every day lives it has also opened up a mass of opportunities which many people have yet to realise. However, with the recession starting to bite in the UK it seems as though now may be a perfect time to take a look at possible options open to you.
People seem to miss the point that the internet has not only opened up local market to you but it has also opened up the worldwide market. A sale to an overseas land may just be a click away or an import deal which could make big money might only be an email away. Let your mind wander and try to think of markets overseas which may be flourishing even though a similar market in the UK may be struggling.
One area of online business which does very well is the sale of information, i.e. eBooks and other similar digital products which can be downloaded via an internet link. A useful book, a simple guide or something of a specialist nature could sell well both in the UK and overseas and open new markets for you.

In the three months to October the unemployment rate in the UK increased by 137,000 and now stands at 1.86 million. The 2 million mark is not very far away and should be reached in early 2009 or before depending upon how the economy performs over the next few months. Read MoreIs optimism returning to the UK financial sector?
A survey released today from the CBI and PricewaterhouseCoopers has highlighted the potential for a gradual path to recovery in the UK financial sector. However, this renewed optimism is set against an expectation that a further 13,000 jobs will be lost in the short to medium term in the UK financial sector.
