UK stock market hits a 5 year low on Far East fall out
While the start of the fall out in the UK market today came from the Far East there seems to be a growing opinion in the City that Gordon Brown's spend, spend and spend more policy is going to leave the UK in serious financial difficulties for many years to come. Despite all of the headlines just a short two weeks ago it seems as though the Brown plan to save the world is in serious jeopardy.
We also have the spectre of a by-election in Scotland which could see more pressure heaped on Gordon Brown by a disgruntled UK population. It is strange to believe that just two months ago Gordon Brown was dead and buried, rose like a phoenix and now he looks set to crash and burn again. Surely this volatile journey MUST be having an impact upon Gordon Brown health for while he has made mistakes and been left wanting in many areas he is still a proud man.
There had been concerns abut his mental health only a few months ago but he seemed to have worked through any issues there were but we seem to have come full circle again.
