Would you move overseas in the future?
This is a question that more and more UK citizens appear to be asking themselves as the cost of living, the standard of living for many and employment prospects in the UK continue to go against the general population. We have a situation where the tax take for the government has never been higher, national debt is at record levels and the banking sector is literally refusing to fund traditional consumers who have been caught in the crossfire.
Many people who would never have thought of leaving the UK are now seriously looking at the cost of living overseas which in many developed areas of the world is substantially less than that in the UK. It is unbelievable that that a country the size of the UK is able to tax consumers to the same level as countries much much larger and with more population. It is only now that the prosperous times over the last decade are coming to an end that many people are staring reality in the face.
UK property investors have been busy overseas for a number of years now and there is a more than adequate network available in the UK for those looking to move overseas for a short while or for the long-term. The risk of such emigration has grown substantially of late and is in danger of becoming a serious issue for the government.
