Helpful hints to save money
While there are hundreds of ways in which you can save money, the vast majority of people in the UK, and around the world, often ignore the simple techniques because of impatience. Many people expect to save significant amounts of money overnight and are ultimately disappointed when it takes a little longer than expected.
One simple technique which many people use to save money is a large container, usually an outsized whiskey bottle, in which they place all of their small change until the bottle is full. If you have ever done this before you will know that some of the larger bottles can hold coins with a value in excess of £100 and more if you save silver and pound coins. Whether you are looking for an idea to help with everyday bills, or perhaps at Christmas time, this particular type of savings idea can prove very useful and a godsend at difficult times of the year.
There are also many other ways to cut back on your spending such as making your own lunch at home rather than forking out up to six pounds or more from a shop. There is also the opportunity to cut back on bottles of juice which could cost in excess of one pound per day and would save you over £350 a year. While these particular examples on their own may seem insignificant, if you put them together the figures certainly start to add up.
