Skandia Investment Group announces 5 new US funds
At a time when more and more investors are nervous about the short and medium term future of the US economy, Skandia Investment Group has announced the launch of 5 new funds to take advantage of long term opportunities in the market place. The funds include the Skandia US all cap value, Skandia US capital growth, Skandia US large cap value, Skandia US value and the Skandia US large cap growth fund.
While it seems as though these ideas have been in the pipeline for some time, the group may actually have been beaten to the punch by the recent market rally - if it lasts. However, when you consider the falls in some US share prices, if some of these bombed out stocks can survive they could offer some interesting recovery plays for investors. This is just the latest in an expansion by the Skandia Investment Group and a vote of confidence for markets at current levels.
However, do not expect Skandia Investment Group to call a recovery which will occur overnight, the economy is still under enormous strain even after the rescue. Looking at the long term picture is the only way to invest at the moment even though the short term risks have never been higher for investors.
