So how much is your home worth?
As again we see mixed signals from the UK property market, with a suggestion that property prices are starting to move ahead, how much is your property actually work?
This is a question which more and more people up and down the UK will be asking themselves as financial concerns continue to mount and many look at ways to reduce their debt in the short term. While a sudden increase in the price of property in the UK has been welcomed across the board behind the scenes there are concerns that there are literally thousands upon thousands of homeowners looking for a bounce before selling their property.
If this is correct and we see a second wave of "distressed sales" in the UK property market over the coming months this could scupper any potential recovery. There is no doubt that the prospects for the UK property market in the short to medium term there has been a slight move in favour of a rise over the last few days. However, if another UK bank was to hit trouble or the building society sector collapsed then this would impact upon short-term confidence in the market and could cut short that any potential recovery.
