How much do you spend on food every week?
As more and more people in the UK look to cut their monthly budgets we need to ask ourselves exactly where our money goes on a monthly basis. Do you, had on heart, honestly know how much you spend on food each week?
While we might assume that we know what our expenditure on for example food each month,
the chances are we will be well short of the mark. There are many people in the UK who simply flash their credit cards or their debit cards every time they go shopping and have no idea how much they spend on specific items and specific types of items each month. However, there are many bargains to be had in the food industry as the likes of Tesco, Asda and Morrison's for example continue to go head-to-head to grab your business.
Next time you're out shopping you can save many pounds each month by looking at what is on offer, although do not be tempted by the potentially "expensive" two-for-one offers, etc. Stick to what you need, when you need it and attempt to maintain a sensible budget for maximum value for money. There are many temptations when shopping either online or off-line but we need to stay focused on what we are actually there to buy!
