David Cameron predicts massive tax increase for UK consumers

David Cameron has suggested each and every taxpayer in the UK will be on the end of an additional £1500 tax bill in order to fund the rumoured tax breaks Gordon Brown is working on. The spectra of deflation also reared its ugly head in the House of Commons as the horrifying thought of a depression similar to that in the 1930s starts to hit home.

In a fiery debate Gordon Brown and David Cameron disagree publicly on the way the UK economy is going and the actions which have been taken to try and avoid a deep recession. Gordon Brown sarcastically suggested that the Tory party did not understand economics and tried to explain the effect of deflation to a furious David Cameron. This is just the latest in a long line of particularly unpleasant debates between the two party leaders which many believe is on the verge of bringing the house into disrepute.

David Cameron has recently realised that by backing the government on each and every aspect of the current economic rescue plan he has played into the hands of Gordon Brown and given him the perfect environment for his own revival.
