Is it too late to jump aboard the Internet bandwagon?
As more and more people across the UK come to terms with the prospect of losing their jobs, there is a growing sense of interest in the online environment. While many people will have you believe that it is "too late" to jump aboard the Internet bandwagon this is in fact very wide of the mark as the Internet is still relatively immature in comparison to worldwide economies and there are still a number of opportunities out there.
Many people make the mistake of thinking of the Internet as a separate economy to the world economy when in fact it is just a different medium and a different environment in which to trade. You are still trading with the same customers, you are still trading in the same currencies and to all intents and purposes you are still selling the same products and services. However, the ability to reach each and every household around the world at a fraction of the cost of a traditional business is the key to success.
It is also worth remembering that you do not need to reinvent the wheel to make a comfortable living off the Internet, all you need to do is market your product and service, give customers what they want and above all make yourself as visible as possible!
