UK employment figures reveal scandalous truth
Despite the fact that the current UK government has invested billions upon billions of pounds into the "employment market" a report today has revealed that over 2 million people have never ever worked in their lives and over 5 million people have never had a job under the current Labour government. These astounding figures lay bare the claims of politicians to improve the lives and working lives of those in the UK when in reality the lives of the top few have improved dramatically while those at the bottom of the pile are forgotten.
There is growing concern that the UK is about to lose a whole generation of teenagers who are finding it impossible to obtain employment and have been cast onto the benefits system. Despite the fact the UK government is currently attacking the benefits system, at a time when money has never been tighter, goes totally against the grain of what we have seen over the last decade. Every political party has been the same in the past, those who cannot find employment are offered the chance of a life on benefits in order to massage the employment figures and make things look as good as possible.
People are now talking about "a cycle of worklessness" which for many could read "a cycle of feeling worthless".
