Cameron v Brown the battle lines are drawn

So who do you trust to see the UK through the next economic cycle? Do you want a change in the leadership at the top? Or is it time for Gordon Brown to rise up and lead the people again?

The Tory Party conference saw David Cameron step up to the plate and make a speech which was balanced, yet cutting, calm, yet full of passion and actually had some very well meaning arguments. He attacked Gordon Brown (as you would expect!) but he also answered the calls for experience at the top, citing a number of similar passages in history which ended in failure by avoiding the need for change.

Few thought that David Cameron could rise to the occasion, they thought he was there to be knocked down but how wrong they were. The Labour bounce may be gathering momentum under the guise of the financial crisis but today David Cameron came of age, today he explained that he may not have experience but that does not mean to say he cant fix the 'wrongs of the last decade'.

The opinion polls will be vital over the next few days to see who actually came out on top and who the public now trust with their money and their economy.
