Can You Ever Go Through Life With No Debt?
As the mortgage and credit card markets continue to struggle with consumers in the firing line it seems that there are still some people in the UK who have an aversion to debt. Is debt really all that bad and can you ever go through life with no debts?
Many people automatically assume that debt is bad and should be avoided at all costs when strictly speaking this is not the case. The last few months has seen more and more consumers in the UK look to their credit cards and overdrafts to make ends meet as they continue to feel the pressure. Debt should be respected and not abused because it does have a tendency to bounce back and bite you on the bum!
As for anyone in the modern world actually going through life with no debts at all, well they would have to be either great business people, born into wealth or very very lucky. Debt is what makes the economy tick, debt is what keeps the retail shops busy and debt is not something you should be afraid of - wary of possibly, but not afraid.
Debt can be your best friend if you do not over extend yourself but it can be your worst enemy if you abuse it!
