Are you sure your credit card is safe each time you use it?
While many of us assume that credit card theft and credit card fraud only happens to other people we all need to wake up to the real threat which is present on the UK high street every day of every week of every month. Each time you use your credit card you need to ensure it remains within your sight at all times and remain vigilant for surveillance devices which may be present on or around any credit card payment devices.
One issue which many people seem to miss is the fact that if you act quickly enough you can reduce any potential threat of fraud by simply checking your credit card statements as soon as they arrive. The amount of people who do not notice rogue payments disappearing from their credit card account is absolutely unbelievable in this day and age.
While the credit card companies are currently very sympathetic towards credit card fraud, and often have insurance in place, there will come a point when more emphasis will be placed upon the consumer to ensure that no additional risks are taken when using their cards.
