Simple ways to save money : Clearing the attic
While money is very tight in the UK at this moment in time there is still great interest in various online auction sites where you can literally get your hands on anything you like. Even though many people in the UK regularly log onto these sites, a significant number have not even considered selling their old "rubbish" online. When we say rubbish, we generally mean clothes, games and other items which have never been used or are unlikely to be used in the future.
It is now very inexpensive to list your various items for sale on the likes of eBay and other online auction websites, with the likelihood that you will at least receive some interest. As they say "one man's rubbish is another man's gold", something which has never been more apt than in the market of today. So if you are looking to clear out your attic, an old shed or your garage then make sure that you put aside any items which are potentially saleable and look at the possibility of auctioning them to the highest bidder.
You will be surprised by the amount of interest the most bizarre of items have received on the likes of eBay and the significant amounts of money which can be raised by clearing out an attic, shed or garage. This is all money effectively for nothing as many of these items would no doubt have been binned or lay unused for years to come.
