Get on your bike to save money
Before anybody begins to fret, we are not recommending biking to work or even biking on long journeys!
If we are all honest there are probably a significant number of journeys we make each day in the car which really we could do without. Whether this is a short journey to the shops, dropping off a friend or child at someone's home or even dropping the kids off at school, there are many journeys we could really go without. Aside from the fact that petrol continues to rise in price, road tax is forever going up and more and more taxes are on the way in relation to greenhouse gases and the environment, the UK car industry is still under pressure.
Imagine the improvement in your health and the cost savings if you were able to cycle even just a couple of journeys a day, whether this is taking the kids to school, going to the shops or in some cases actually biking to work, there are significant benefits. While sometimes the weather may not make bike journeys possible, as we come into the summer period there should be many opportunities to leave the car at home, improve your health and also improve your wealth.
