Treat yourself, but within limits!
If you take the time to sit back and monitor where your monthly income is spent and where it disappears to you may be surprised to learn exactly what you get for your money. There is no doubt that significant funding is "wasted" across the UK from takeaways to sky TV, from over expenditure in the shops to uneconomic telephone deals. However, while wasting money does seem a shame there are occasions when you need to treat yourself to pick yourself up.
Knowing how to balance treating yourself, such as a takeaway or evenings out, and when to pull in your belts and retain enough funding for the future is a trait which many people across the UK have yet to master. Very often because the mood of the moment, with many people having extended families, it can be difficult to fight the demands of children who may want anything from a takeaway meal, evening out or other similar activities. There are without doubt times to treat the family and times to pull in your belt although finding the balance is not as easy as you might think.
The trick to realigning your finances is to shave off small savings from many expenses which will in due course add up and ultimately have an impact upon your everyday life.
