Internet TV is on the way
As more and more homes in the UK have sky TV and other satellite services we are spending literally millions upon millions of pounds on additional TV channels each year. While the onslaught of digital TV will open up this market, and introduce significant competition, it is the Internet TV market of the future which will offer the best chance to save you money.
The ability to view TV channels from around the world and also view them on your laptop on the move has the potential to save millions of pounds in satellite subscription fees. This is an area of the market which more and more people are starting to look at, and even though it is in its infancy at the moment there is massive potential for the future. Such are the concerns within government that there has been a suggestion that the future BBC television licence will be added to your electric bill or potentially added to your Internet subscription.
The Internet has changed many areas of our lives and offers potential cost savings across the board which thankfully seems set to continue for the foreseeable future. However, governments in the future will almost certainly want their slice of the action!
