Weekly Budgets Now Coming Back Into Play

When money was easy and employment was as steady as a rock, many people were happy to literally visit their local ATM each and everyday. Need a few pounds, just visit the machine and pull it out for that day - oops spent a bit more and back the next day. However, is now the time to be looking at tight weekly budgets?

More and more people in the UK are looking at keeping their spending and outgoings as low as possible in order to alleviate some of the financial pressure they may be feeling. There has been an increase in the number of people taking money out at the start of each week to cover their normal outgoings, hence reducing the number of visits to your local ATM.

While it may seem very simple and futile, it really can save money in the long run and ready the UK consumer for what seems like a further inevitable downturn in the economy. Being able to stick strictly to your budget is central to the success of this strategy, but if you can you will start to feel the benefits from week one. No more drip feeding your money from your bank account and you might even have some left at the end of the month!
