Why have the banks increased small business finance costs?

In a move which is sure to backfire at some stage it has been revealed that the small business sector in the UK is receiving no help whatsoever from the UK banking sector, in fact there is evidence to suggest that financing costs have actually gone up of late. So if the tax payer is funding the bailout why are small companies not benefiting?

This is a scandal which is set to go on for some time yet as the government concentrate on securing the finances of big business at the expense of the smaller ones. Quite how they can stick to this line, while in the press promising financial help, remains to be seen. As more and more taxpayers money disappears down the economy black hole questions are being asked about how it is being used.

Tax payers are not receiving a direct benefit and small businesses are not receiving any benefit which just leaves the big players in the market whom many blame for getting us in this mess in the first pace. It will be interesting to see where this story goes next as it is starting to turn into something of a national scandal.
