Where there is muck there is brass!

Serial entrepreneurs Paul Wright and Valerie Kaye are on the verge of completing a deal which will see their plant and garden equipment company sold to their former offshoot Ideal Shopping Direct in a deal worth around £5 million. After initially setting up the Ideal Shopping Direct company sometime ago the couple left in 2007 with £9.9 million in their bank accounts and a stake of 29% in the business.

Having set up the garden business only two years ago it is now making profits of around £750,000 with turnover in excess of £6 million. "Lead the good life" has been a phenomenal success over the last two years and the couple will be taking around £4.25 million in shares in Ideal Shopping Direct and a cash payment of £750,000. It is unclear whether the couple will take a more hands-on approach to Ideal Shopping Direct in the future but all eyes are on their plans because they have been phenomenally successful over the last few years.

All budding entrepreneurs out there should note that the couple have based their success purely and simply on the Internet, bringing together different retail operations, building up and then selling them on. While not easy, there is potential, even in these dark economic days, to make money online.
