Working from home is not as easy as you think!
As the Internet continues to play a major part in the lives of the vast majority of the UK public we are seeing a gradual increase in the number of people working for themselves from home. The ability to create websites which will have access to markets around the world is proving a major attraction for many and even more so in this current climate of economic distress. However, there are various issues to consider if you are looking to work from home.
Insurance, this is a vital area for any self-employed person as you need not only to insure your services against the threat of being sued, but you also need to insure your office (if there is one), your equipment and ultimately your income. If you were to set up in business tomorrow and build up a substantial income which your family relied upon, what would happen if you were unable to work tomorrow?
There are many different types of insurances around, one of which is income insurance which will ensure that your family are not left in the lurch in the event of an accident or some kind of incident which stopped you from working. These are issues which many people ignore as they look to cut costs, but ultimately they could be worth their weight in gold.
