As The New Car Registrations Arrive On The Forecourts Is It Time To Buy?
As we approach the September launch of the new car registrations in the UK it seems that even the more hardened of new car enthusiast are having second thoughts. A mixture of rising fuel costs, increased insurance premiums and a new road tax regime which will see many road tax demands increase substantially has called a halt to new car purchases at the moment. But is it now time to look again?
There is no doubt that the cost of new cars will need to fall this year to attract even a modicum of interest from the consumer but maybe it is time to look again?
When you consider that many new cars will come with free insurance for a fixed period, free servicing and up to 12 months MOT there are savings to be made. However, when you balance this against the increased cost of running a motor vehicle you will need to be very selective to make the most of any deals on the forecourt.
Those who are interested in a new car and are able to pay cash are in a very strong position. You can literally bargain with the garages for a host of add-ons and extras which may not normally be available. Now is the time to grab a bargain and get as much as you can from the struggling car industry!
