Sir Alan Sugar crashes down to earth

In a headline which we thought would catch your eye and have everyone thinking that the infamous Sir Alan Sugar had lost a fortune in the current economic climate, this concerns his pilot's licence and the fact he was involved in a crash landing back in July. It seems as though the 'perfect' Mr Sugar actually made a mistake when he decided to land his plane in bad visibility, only to skid off the end of the runway at Manchester Airport.

It is lucky for Gordon Brown that Sir Alan and his passengers were unharmed as he has become the PMs fierce enforcer in the business media. It seems that his face is everywhere at the moment defending Gordon Brown to the hilt and talking down the threat of a Tory government. Unlike many in the Labour Party it seems that Mr Brown can depend whole heartedly on his cockney rebel.

For those who are not aware of Sir Alan Sugar, he was and is the name behind Amstrad (Alan Michael Sugar Trading) and has been something of a serial entrepreneur for many years. He has lived through the full spectrum of political parties in the UK and managed to make money in every political environment imaginable.
