Does the stock market look good value at the moment?
After one of the worst years in the history of the UK economy the UK stock market is battered and bruised but still alive and kicking. Many of the best known names in the UK economy have gone, others are seemingly on their last legs so how do you get the best and safest exposure to the market?
While it is imperative that you take professional advice before investing any money into the stock market it seems that more and more people are looking at collective investments which offer a spread of investments which the traditional investor could never match. We are talking about a pool of investor's money which is invested across dozens or even hundreds of companies, therefore spreading the risk and ensuring you don't lose everything if one company was to go under.
For those not sure whether to invest now or wait until the future is a little clearer it may be worth considering a monthly investment into a pooled investment which would see you purchases carried out once a month and allow you to gain exposure bit by bit, buying on the downs and on the ups.
