Are there still opportunities for online entrepreneurs?
If you were to read the UK financial press over the last few months you could be mistaken for assuming that the UK economy is dead and buried and there are no more opportunities for online and off-line entrepreneurs. However, while there is no doubt the UK economic situation is very difficult at the moment there is also no doubt that those willing to put in the work and the effort on a new business idea can still be successful.
Working online has become commonplace across the UK as more and more staff work from home and work on the move. We are also likely to see demand for online businesses and online work increase in short to medium-term as unemployment is forecast to rise in the foreseeable future. When you consider that the Internet offers you exposure to not only your local area and the UK but literally anywhere on the planet, the opportunities are still there!
Those who believe that the "best ideas" have already been taken will need to think again because the best website in the world is no good unless you have traffic so there are opportunities to improve on current services, current products and current ideas. The Internet is the Goldmine which many entrepreneurs have been waiting for and slowly but surely more and more people are waking up to this fact.
