HM Revenue and Customs records podcasts for small businesses
In a move which has seen HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) move into the modern electronic era it has been revealed that a series of podcasts are available for small business owners and entrepreneurs regarding tax issues. One of the main concerns of small businesses and small business entrepreneurs is the ever-growing red tape which continues to appear in the UK tax arena.
More and more people are becoming more and more confused about tax liabilities and tax relief which is resulting in higher accountancy charges and more problems regarding inaccurate returns. These podcasts will obviously allow business owners and entrepreneurs to maintain a grasp of the current situation as it looks likely these recordings will be updated and re-released in the future.
This move to simplify the UK taxation system has been welcomed across the board and could well be the first step in mending bridges between the tax authorities and businesses in the UK, especially the small business arena. For many years the two parties have been moving in opposite directions with more and more concern about the UK tax environment. Finally HMRC seems to have grasped the Internet and the electronic era!
